Remember if a UPS is doing its job you shouldnt notice it. It keeps providing power. But if any problem occurs, it relies on a faint beeping alarm and red led light to signal for help. But if your unit is in a noisy room or away from sight... you need another way.
UPSdown kits activate On battery, for Any Fault Condition, In Bypass, In Overload or Offline. The red beacon is self-powered so it will operate even if the UPS is off.
The kit includes a pre-programmed Relay card that slides into your UPS's netcard slot. If any trouble condition occurs, the relay activates the red beacon.
It works on all network-ready models and brands of UPS units. We have ready-made models for all APC units. We also have a 1U LED light strobe Rack mount version.
